GDSIWSU: The culminating point of the Russian army: The Importance of the shift of strategy in Ukraine

The following document delineates a potential strategy to counter Russian aggression and reach a tipping point in Ukraine. While implementing this strategy poses significant challenges, allowing Russia to maintain momentum in the conflict is not an option. Various factors contribute to the success of Russian aggression, necessitating their control, disruption, or elimination. Foremost among these is the imperative of providing steadfast and adequate support to Ukraine.

The current trajectory of the conflict favors Russia, largely due to Ukraine’s insufficient and inconsistent support. By ensuring Ukraine receives the necessary supplies tailored to its theater needs, it can target key components of Russian logistics and high-value targets within its occupied territories, as outlined in this document.

Russia’s logistical infrastructure is dispersed across its territory, and although it can produce its own ammunition, it lacks precision strike capabilities, relying on support from international partners. However, this dependence is not immutable. Iran and North Korea actively support Russian aggression, highlighting the importance of understanding Russia-Iran dynamics to comprehend the extent of their cooperation.

To disrupt or halt the flow of supplies to Russia fueling its war against Ukraine, Ukraine’s international partners must exert unified pressure on Russia’s supporters. Simultaneously, Ukraine must adapt its tactics with the assistance of its partners. This collaborative approach is essential to shifting the dynamics of the conflict and ultimately reaching a favorable outcome for Ukraine.
